Helping families put food on the table and supporting community services across the Rio Grande Valley are the goals behind two AEP Texas donations totaling $20,000. The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley and United Way of South Texas each received $10,000 to support their work serving individuals and families.

Daniel Lucio, External Affairs manager north of the RGV, presented the contributions. The food banks donation supports its mission to fight hunger and provide food assistance across the region, while United Way's contribution supports its work in making families stronger through various organizations. Both non-profits thanked AEP Texas for its support.
