AEP Texas employees spent time volunteering at the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, where they helped prepare 12,578 meals for the community. A total of 30 employees participated in the service effort.
During the volunteer event, the group worked with Miss Laura to create 600 community bags and helped with CSFP packaging, completing 28 pallets and five boxes for a total of 901 boxes. Their work supported the food bank’s mission to provide food assistance to families across the region.
The effort reflected AEP Texas’ commitment to serving neighbors and supporting organizations that help meet critical needs in the community.
