Every Thursday, volunteers at God's Storehouse Food Pantry in Nixon package refrigerated food and dry goods for distribution to people in need.
AEP Texas presented the pantry with a $1,000 donation to support its work service Nixon and surrounding communities. Founded in 1984, the organization continues to count co-founder Gladyne Finch among its board members.
Finch joined pantry President and Director Angela Alexander, AEP Texas External Affairs Manager Vee Straus and AEP Texas service technician DJ Gonzalez for the check presentation.
