AEP Texas and AEP Transmission employees were recognized by the City of Quanah for their dedication and quick response following a city-wide outage during Memorial Day weekend.
“It feels really good to be recognized,” said Dylan Haseloff, AEP Transmission Station Crew Supervisor. “They didn’t have to go out of their way like this, but it does feel nice to be thanked for our hard work.”
Over a dozen employees responded to the call around 2:30 a.m. and worked tirelessly in challenging weather conditions until power was restored after 5 p.m.
