AEP Texas employees celebrated Halloween in downtown Vernon where hundreds of kids dressed up as monsters, skeletons, and movie characters for the town’s annual Munchkins on Main trunk or treat event. The crew brought a bucket truck and decorated a tent to look like Victor Frankenstein’s laboratory.

Service Mechanic Justin Hall dressed up as Frankenstein’s monster while his wife Maritza was the Bride of Frankenstein. Hall said they enjoyed getting in the Halloween spirit with their community.
“My wife enjoys making decorations for events like this. She actually took the day off from her own job just to finish the decorations and assemble her costume,” he said. “It feels great to do something for the community and seeing the kids’ reactions and excitement is definitely rewarding. We are grateful to AEP for their support and for giving us the opportunity to do so.”
