The AEP Texas Foundation awarded Mission of Mercy a $50,000 grant to purchase medications and equipment and continue providing healthcare services to community members in Corpus Christi with limited access to care. 

Mission of Mercy provides free healthcare and strives to deliver quality care to uninsured individuals. Its services include medical care, vision care, dental care, mental health care, and more for Coastal Bend community members. The foundation’s goal is to help Mission of Mercy continue opening doors to care and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those it serves.

“At the AEP Texas Foundation, we believe strong communities begin with people having access to the resources they need to live healthy, productive lives. This $50,000 grant to Mission of Mercy is about investing in people and helping remove barriers that can prevent individuals and families from receiving needed healthcare,” said Gricelda Calzada, regional director of external affairs.
