The AEP Texas Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to support food access efforts in Real County through the San Antonio Food Bank. The funding will help expand food distribution and outreach services for local families.

AEP Texas External Affairs Manager Jimmy Earnest joined San Antonio Food Bank representative Mario Obledo to present the grant. The support will help the food bank reach more residents and continue meeting the needs of those facing economic challenges.

This partnership is aimed at strengthening food security and improving quality of life in Real County. The grant also reflects the AEP Texas Foundation’s ongoing commitment to helping build stronger, healthier and more resilient communities across South Texas.
