AEP Texas Foundation has donated $5,000 to The Rise School of Corpus Christi to purchase specialized equipment that will support nonverbal autistic children and expand inclusive early-learning opportunities.
On March 30, Regional External Affairs Manager Gricelda Calzada presented the check to the nonprofit, which serves children of all abilities typically developing, gifted, and those with developmental delays - helping them learn, communicate, and thrive.
This investment strengthens community partnerships in the Coastal Bend and reinforces the foundation’s commitment to improving educational access and supporting families across the region.
