Two students from Vernon High School, Kadyn Whiteside and Manuel Ochoa, spent a day with the Vernon Distribution Team to observe field operations. They watched a safe pole replacement and the installation of an overhead transformer for a new office building, participated in the morning materials discussion, observed the crew’s work, and joined the post-job review. The experience gave them a full, practical view of how line and service work is planned, executed, and evaluated.
