AEP Texas recently made a meaningful impact in the community by donating $1,500 to the Ruthe B. Cowl Rehabilitation Center in Laredo, supporting their Respite Care event for children with special needs. Danny Treviño, AEP Texas External Affairs Manager, presented the check to facilitate activities designed for 20 children, many of whom require a one-on-one therapist-to-child ratio.

Treviño emphasized the importance of the event, stating, “The Respite Care event gives children and families a chance to experience joy in a way that is both meaningful and inclusive.” This donation underscores AEP Texas's commitment to strengthening communities across South Texas by investing in initiatives that promote care, accessibility, and inclusion for all.
