AEP Texas employees recently demonstrated their commitment to community well-being by assisting the Cancer Services Network at the 11th annual Fur, Fowl, and Fin fundraiser in Abilene. Their efforts in unloading and setting up equipment played a crucial role in the event's success, allowing for a seamless preparation process.

Nancy Tyler, Executive Director of Cancer Services Network, expressed her gratitude, noting that the team’s contributions were instrumental in raising approximately $110,000, which will support over 400 cancer patients. The funds will help cover essential needs such as prescriptions, medical supplies, and utility bills. Tyler emphasized the value of AEP Texas employees’ time and thanked them for their vital partnership, enabling continued assistance for those in need.
