AEP Texas was presented with a plaque of appreciation and a replica of the USS Kingsville, an Independence-class littoral combat ship commissioned by the U.S. Navy in 2024 in Corpus Christi. The AEP Foundation contributed to the commissioning events last summer.
The U.S. Navy warship is named in honor of the city of Kingsville, Texas.
Kingsville Navy League Director visited the AEP Texas Home office to present the awards to Judith Talavera, AEP Texas president & COO, and Efrain Franco, External Affairs manager-Corpus Christi.
