AEP Texas employees from the WiNUP Corpus Christi chapter attended the 2026 WiNUP International Conference in Indianapolis, where they connected with women across the utility industry and gained valuable insights to support their professional growth. The annual conference brought together members from across the country to learn from industry experts on topics such as artificial intelligence, leadership development, change management, effective communication, networking, and problem-solving.

For attendees, the conference offered both professional development and meaningful personal connections. Patricia Morales, Distribution Right of Way agent and WiNUP Corpus Christi Chapter Chair, said the “On Track for Change” session reinforced the importance of aligning people, processes, and leadership when managing change. April Patino, administrative assistant, valued the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from other women in the industry, while Suzy Perez, senior administrative assistant, said the friendships and shared experiences made the event especially memorable.
