The AEP Texas Foundation donated $10,000 through its sponsorship of the annual Relay for Life event in Uvalde to support cancer research and awareness. The contribution helped fund the community event, which brings together participants, survivors, caregivers and supporters in the fight against cancer.

AEP Texas External Affairs Manager Jimmy Earnest joined fellow Uvalde-area employees in attending the event and supporting participants and community members. Their presence reflected the company’s ongoing commitment to local causes and community involvement.

During the event, organizers presented Earnest and participating employees with a plaque of appreciation to recognize the AEP Texas Foundation’s support. Through the foundation, AEP Texas continues to invest in programs and organizations that strengthen communities and improve quality of life across South Texas.
