With a donation of $10,000, the AEP Texas Foundation secured scholarships for students in Poteet. The contribution helps provide educational opportunities for graduating seniors while supporting local organizers in keeping the Strawberry Festival alive.
External Affairs Manager Jimmy Earnest and other employees represented the company well by connecting with residents during the festival's parade. Additionally, the AEP Texas vehicle earned 'Best Commercial Vehicle' honors for showing pride and spirit through its decorations.
"This event really shows our pride as employees and our community support out in Poteet," Earnest said.
