AEP Texas recently demonstrated its commitment to community support by donating $1,000 to the Weslaco Economic Development Corporation in the Rio Grande Valley. This generous contribution was used to purchase backpacks for students.
AEP Texas employees Line Crew Leader Robert Perez, Service Mechanic Rick Prieto, and Line Mechanic Mark Lozano personally distributed the backpacks at a festival in downtown Weslaco. Their hands-on involvement not only brought smiles to the faces of students but also demonstrated the importance of giving back to the community.
