The Corpus Christi chapter of the Women's International Network of Utility Professionals (WiNUP) is proud to announce the recipients of $810 scholarships awarded to two high school graduates: Emily Treviño from Gregory Portland High School and Erin Srp from London High School. The students were honored for their strong academic performance, extracurricular involvement, and compelling personal statements.

The awards were presented on May 21 and May 27, with a selection committee comprised of five WiNUP members carefully reviewing all applicants. "The funds for the two scholarships were raised through a Christmas basket raffle in December," shared Naomi M. Serrata, Customer Support Manager.

Christina A. Gomez, Chapter Chair, praised the scholarship winners for their exceptional achievements and insights into their character and aspirations. The scholarship funds will be directed to their colleges to assist with tuition, books, or other educational expenses. WiNUP extends its gratitude to the community for their generous contributions, which have significantly impacted these students' educational journeys.
