AEP Texas employees spent time volunteering at the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, where they helped prepare 12,578 meals for the community. A total of 30 employees participated in the service effort.

AEP Texas employees and community members came together at the Pharr Service Center for a Vitalant blood drive on Wednesday, July 29, collecting 27 units of blood and surpassing the goal of 21 units by six.

Transmission employees joined AEP Texas Week of Service by spending a morning guiding children through hands-on activities at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science & History. Kids took part in projects such as making slime and leaf printing.

AEP Texas employees assembled furniture and helped organize the diaper closet at Hope House and The Gabriel Project, a Coastal Bend resource for young mothers.

AEP Texas employees from the San Benito Service Center volunteered at Maggie’s House in Harlingen, helping move and organize office furniture.
