AEP Texas Winter Storm Restoration Progress Friday, Feb. 4, 3:45 p.m.

February 4, 2022

As of 3:45 p.m., approximately 600 AEP Texas customers were without power, with most located in Corpus Christi. Temperatures are expected to drop again throughout parts of the AEP Texas service territory on Friday evening and could result in new outages. If this happens, service crews will continue their efforts to safely restore power to all homes and businesses.

Many customers have expressed their gratitude for the continued efforts throughout this restoration effort.  Thank you for this support.  We know that going without electricity is frustrating.  That’s why a team of approximately 1,500 individuals has faced very cold and wet conditions to bring the lights back on.

This is the last Restoration Progress update.  You can view a real-time outage map that will confirm an outage in your area by visiting the Outage Section on AEPTexas.com. Please note that the estimated restoration times shown on the map are initial projections and can change.
