AEP Texas employees were reminded this week that even small donations can make a meaningful difference for families across the region.

During United Way campaign visits at service centers in San Benito, Los Fresnos, Weslaco and Corpus Christi, local leaders shared how employee giving supports programs that provide food, school supplies, clothing and other essentials to people in need.

Representatives from United Way and partner organizations emphasized that funds stay local, are carefully distributed through an application process, and help sustain nonprofits, schools and emergency relief efforts. With employee contributions totaling more than $761,000 last year and a Foundation match pushing the impact beyond $1.14 million, the campaign aims to build on that success and continue strengthening communities throughout South Texas.
