Angelo State University engineering students visited the AEP Texas service center to learn more about the company and how engineering plays an important role. Students learned how the company operates and the impact engineering has on everyday projects.
Students also met with engineers Mark Halfmann and Diego Palafox who explained their different engineering roles. Halfmann showed students a recent project he worked on and explained the process of completing the job.
Wesley Smith is a mechanical engineering student and said the visit taught him how versatile the engineering industry can be.
