On Monday, Aug. 3 AEP Texas helped McCamey Independent School District teachers prepare for the new school year during the McCamey Chamber of Commerce's annual Teachers Tea. Employees joined local businesses at the McCamey Primary School cafeteria to distribute giveaways and show appreciation for the district's educators and staff.
Distribution System Supervisor Noel Parada and Administrative Associate Veronica Martinez also presented gifts to two McCamey ISD employees.
The annual event provides teachers and staff with supplies and other items as they prepare to welcome students back to the classroom.
