As part of AEP’s company-wide Week of Service, San Angelo employees rallied together to donate money and canned goods to the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank. In total, 22 employees donated $240 as well as 68 cans of food. The food bank states that just one dollar can provide five meals for families in need.

San Angelo External Affairs manager Fred Guerrero said he is proud of the team’s efforts to help those in need.

“One of the things I’m most proud of is how consistently our employees step up to support the communities we call home,” Guerrero said. “We’re here to provide safe, reliable power, but we also recognize the importance of giving back. Knowing these donations will help provide hundreds of meals for local families makes this effort especially meaningful.”
