AEP Texas employees volunteered at Lighthouse Lakes Park in Aransas Pass, removing nearly 75 pounds of litter and debris, enhancing the visitor experience, and helping protect coastal habitats and wildlife. Steve Garza, distribution system supervisor, said he was proud of the strong turnout from the Aransas Pass Service Center team and the cleanup's successful outcome.

“This Week of Service initiative highlights the Aransas Pass Service Center team’s commitment to supporting our communities from both an industry and an environmental standpoint,” Garza said. “I would not hesitate to do this with my team again.”

“The cleanup project provided a meaningful opportunity for employees to give back locally while supporting conservation and beautification efforts that benefit residents and visitors alike,” Patrick King, external affairs manager, said.
