AEP Texas employees brought companionship and camaraderie to senior residents of the Pavilion Assisted Living Center during afternoon bingo sessions in Portland. Employees volunteered their time to share sweet treats and smiles with residents, fostering personal connections and strengthening community partnerships.

“One of the most memorable aspects of the event was seeing genuine conversations and laughter between employees and the seniors throughout the afternoon,” said Patrick King, external affairs manager.

“What I’ll take away from this experience is a greater appreciation for community connection and the value of showing up to help where it’s needed,” said Victoria Charles, senior administrative assistant.
