The AEP Texas Foundation donated $5,000 to Real County through the San Antonio Food Bank to continue supporting local families and helping to provide them with nutritious food. AEP Texas External Affairs Manager Jimmy Earnest joined Mario Obledo from the San Antonio Food Bank to present the grant, which will help expand food distribution services and outreach throughout the county.

"This grant will assist the San Antonio Food Bank in expanding its outreach and food distribution activities within Real County by helping meet the needs of residents facing economic challenges," Earnest said.

The goal of this partnership is to strengthen food security while also improving the quality of life for residents across Real County. This grant is part of AEP Texas Foundation's ongoing efforts to build stronger, healthier and more resilient communities throughout South Texas.
