AEP Texas Technician Associates Racuan Trujillo and Robert Sheetz helped rescue a mother and her 2-year-old daughter from a car after they crashed off the highway during a storm. They pulled their truck over, turned their flashing lights on, and assessed the situation. 

Trujillo and Sheetz worked together to get the driver door open, and the mother and daughter were pulled out of the car with what appeared to be only minor scrapes. The technicians agreed that they just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

“The whole day was a weird coincidence of events that seemed like it led up to us being there at that moment,” Sheetz explained. “It was a combination of things that made us late and delayed us, so when we were coming back from that final site visit, it was like the perfect time.”
