Through a sponsorship with the American Heart Association, AEP Texas helped fund and deliver 47 CPR Anytime® kits to the Antonio Garcia Arts & Education Center to help improve access to life-saving skills and education for families in the Coastal Bend. 

External Affairs Regional Director Gricelda Calzada said that by “expanding access to CPR training, we are helping build a more prepared and resilient Coastal Bend community. Every person trained in CPR has the potential to save a life, and these kits will help create a ripple effect of awareness, education, and preparedness across the region."

Calzada hopes the kits empower families and young people with life-saving skills they can carry with them for years to come. Through partnerships, AEP Texas is committed to powering healthier communities by helping families stay prepared to respond to emergencies.
