AEP Texas welcomed Public Utility Commission of Texas Commissioner Kathleen Jackson to highlight the company’s infrastructure and technology investments designed to strengthen the grid for severe weather. Jackson's visit aligned with her interest in how utilities are adapting to extreme weather and advancing innovative technologies to better serve customers. 

She toured AEP Texas’s Mission Intelligence Center (MIT), AEP Texas's central hub for distribution operations and system monitoring, and the laydown yard where she learned how the company monitors the grid in coordination with ERCOT.
