Several AEP Texas employees helped provide food to about 100 families in need. The company helped sponsor the food distribution event in partnership with the West Side Business Association at the Antonio E. Garcia Arts & Education Center on Feb. 11.
Transmission Construction Coordinator Sr., Stephanie Casiano, said she volunteered to help meet the needs of the community and enjoyed seeing organizations and businesses come together to help families in need.
AEP Texas bought the food from the food bank and six employees from AEP Texas/WiNUP-Corpus Christi helped serve roughly 100 west side families in need.
