On Saturday, December 6, employees volunteered their time to ring the Salvation Army bell, helping raise donations while spreading holiday cheer throughout the community. The volunteer efforts continued on Tuesday, December 9 with a visit to Alameda Oaks Nursing Home, where employees decorated residents' doors and created a festive atmosphere for them.
The Nursing Home Project was organized by the WiNUP-Corpus Christi Community Service Committee as part of its goal to host at least one volunteer event each quarter. Employees also delivered goodie bags filled with hygiene products, including non-slip socks, chapstick, deodorant and lotion, to ensure residents felt cared for and valued.
