AEP Texas participated in a roundtable discussion and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly inaugurated Transportation Technology Center at Texas State Technical College (TSTC) in Harlingen. AEP Texas has made contributions to TSTC, notably through the Electrical Lineworker and Management Technology program, providing essential resources such as bucket trucks, tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and field guidance.

During the roundtable discussion at the ribbon-cutting event, Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño emphasized the role of education as a transformative equalizer in the Rio Grande Valley. TSTC Provost Gina Cano-Monreal followed by highlighting how collaborations with companies like AEP Texas enable students to reach their professional aspirations. Adding to this, Senator John Cornyn recognized TSTC's technical training as a driving force behind the RGV's economic development.
