Martin A. Valdes, Key Account manager senior from Pharr, represented AEP Texas at the South Texas Association of School Maintenance Officials (STASMO) summer conference to help the company build relationships with districts we serve in the Rio Grande Valley. 

"The relationships we build with the school district officials allows us with the opportunity to continue to grow the company especially in areas that are dual certificated, and triple certificated as the district has a choice between AEP Texas, Magic Valley Coop., and Brownsville Public Utilities Board," Valdes said.

Like AEP Texas, STASMO gives back to the community. The group donates to the RGV Food Bank and funds scholarships for the children of maintenance officials in their district with the funds raised from the summer conference.
