Thanks to a sponsorship by AEP Texas, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Law Enforcement Explorer Program will allow Explorer Post 0967 to attend law enforcement competitions, leadership academies, and hands-on training with CBP in the Harlingen area.

The program serves students ages 14-20 and focuses on mentorship, character development, and real-world exposure to careers in public safety.

The students are volunteers in disaster response efforts and help distribute supplies to underserved communities. The Honor Guard team has proudly represented the Rio Grande Valley at several events and will soon present the colors at the Corpus Christi Hooks baseball game.
