AEP Texas crews from San Angelo recently took part in the community's Touch-A-Truck event, bringing in a few hundred attendees. The event gave families and kids a chance to explore utility vehicles and meet the people who help keep the lights on.

"Our San Angelo Distribution team, represented by Armando Villa, Shane Hill, David McMinn, and Jared Brown, was on site to demonstrate equipment and answer questions about their day-to-day work," External Affairs Manager Fred Guerrero said. "Kids had the opportunity to try on safety geaer and learn how our team uses specialized tools to restore and maintain electric service."

Patrick Pallarez from the San Angelo Transmission Line crew also helped showcase the critical work involved in keeping the power flowing across West Texas.
