AEP Texas delivers the power, maintains the poles and wires, and keeps your service reliable.

If electricity is already available at your new address, starting service is easy.
If you need power brought to a brand new structure or site, we are here to help. Visit our New Construction page to request new service, meter installation, and construction support.
If you’re leaving one address and starting service at another:
We reconnect service only after we receive authorization from your REP.
If you're moving out and no longer need electricity at your location:
“Remember User ID” helps you log in without having to memorize your ID or look it up every time. When you opt in, we automatically fill in your ID from then on. To avoid unauthorized access, you’ll still have to enter your password.
Your security code is a short word or phrase you set up with our customer service associates to provide extra protection for your online account.
