The AEP Texas Foundation awarded $3,000 grant to the Laredo Parkinson's Support Group to help programs that support people living with Parkinson's disease and related movement disorders. Representatives from AEP Texas and the Laredo Parkinson's Support Group gathered on Wednesday, June 24 for a check presentation.

The Laredo Parkinson's Support Group provides education, encouragement and support to individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, as well as their families and caregivers. The organization works to improve quality of life by offering resources, connecting people with local support services and creating opportunities for those affected by the disease.

"We're proud to support organizations that make a lasting difference in the communities we serve," External Affairs Manager Danny Trevino said.
