July 2, 2010

ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OH, July 2, 2010 – American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP) recently announced management changes at its Kammer-Mitchell Plant in Moundsville, WV as well as the Cardinal Power Plant, Brilliant, OH.
On June 1, 2010, Charles W. George was promoted to the plant manager position for Cardinal Plant and Daniel L. Moyer was promoted to the same position at AEP’s Kammer-Mitchell facility.

Moyer’s change of work location made it necessary for him to resign as a Director on the Board of the Muskingum Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.  However, he looks forward to soon becoming an active part of the Marshall County community.
Moyer earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh and completed The Ohio State University Management School program.
