Also, AEP has completed the sale of eight natural gas plants, one coal-fired plant, and one hydro plant within its Texas Central Company (TCC).

American Electric Power Company, Inc. (AEP) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, AEP Texas Central Company, sold AEP Texas Central’s electric generation facilities as provided for under Texas electric restructuring legislation (Senate Bill 7).

Credit Suisse First Boston was retained by AEP as its exclusive financial advisor in connection with the sale.
